Jingdezhen is a renowned Chinese city both at home and abroad,with athousand-years porcelain-making history.In1982, the State Council announced the firstbatch of24national historical and cultural city. Jingdezhen ceramics as aworld-renowned Millennium porcelain, its architecture and neighborhoods is a highresearch value of cultural heritage. So far, in the old city still preserved ancient buildingsand ancient streets more of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.In this paper, the old city of Jingdezhen Ming and Qing dynasties of ancientbuildings or streets as an object of study, literature research, field research and theorywith practical ways of the old city of Jingdezhen Ming and Qing dynasties of ancientbuildings or streets were studied. Firstly, the old city of Jingdezhen Jingdezhen Mingplanning the scope and definition of the concept of the protection of ancient buildings orstreets and renovation design, and the old city of Jingdezhen Ming and Qing dynasties ofancient buildings or streets to protect the design and the transformation of basic research,including the history and current status of research analyzed, and the relative protectionprinciples and methods of strategy and transformation, and finally to fight to get richneighborhoods example specific protection and reconstruction planning and designanalysis.Based on the historical old town of Jingdezhen’s ancient streets of the ancient Mingand Qing architecture, structure and layout, and other aspects of the value of study,statistics and induction, in practice the old city of Jingdezhen Ming future of ancientbuildings or streets protection and rehabilitation research and development provide atheoretical basis and reference.
