| Traditional villages have been a valuable research topic,and there have been a great number of development and protection of these villages since 2012.The Central Plains region,represented by Henan province,is the spreader of the long-standing Chinese civilization.The traditional villages within its jurisdiction have a rich variety of historical relics and natural resources.Compared with Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Anhui,the development and protection of traditional villages in Henan Province face difficulties and challenges in traditional environment protection and restorative procedure for they are mostly constrained by factors such as vague identification of characteristics,damaged heritage matrx and severe homogeneous landscape.As the blood vein and skeleton of traditional villages and the first window to display the characteristics of traditional villages,restoration design of these streets style is of great significance for keeping the features of traditional villages,inheriting the characteristic culture and improving the living environment.In the protection and development of streets style in traditional villages,the main body of design that should be paid attention to is ignored,and the effective care for the human dimension is absent,which further deepen the disappear of the village scene.Based on the participatory concept,this study takes the Banzha Village of Ruzhou,Henan Province as an example and streetscape as research content to discuss the restoration design of streets style in traditional villages.On the one hand,it is conductive to further expanding the theoretical depth of the topic of regional research.On the other hand,it also helps to ideologically unify the priority cognition of “protection-restoration” of the construction subjects at all levels,and finally realizes the quality improvement of the development and utilization of featured resource of the streets style in traditional villages.Firstly,the thesis systematically analyzes and summarizes the research status,relevant theories and excellent cases,and then puts forward the research perspective and the pointcut—the combination of the restoration of streets style in traditional villages and participatory concept.Secondly,the thesis applies the participatory concept to the investigation and analysis ofthe natural elements,artificial elements and human elements of the streets styles of Banzha Village.Through design thinking,it sums up five values of the traditional streets style:characteristics of the village site selection,the value of the defense system,the traditional street space,courtyard pattern and rich environmental factors,the decline of space vitality of the street,the lack of characteristics of the courtyard pattern;Four big troubles: the decline of ecological landscape,the lack of environmental facilities;Two major opportunities: the strategy of rural revitalization and rural tourism development;and three challenges:discordance between superior planning and villagers’ needs,contradiction between the development of new villages and the protection of ancient villages,and the contradiction between cultural identity and the decline of collective memory.In addition,Guided by the problem,we will explore a road to repair by the villagers as the main body,ecological return,production return and life return.Finally,the three strategies of environmental ecology,space production and functional life are introduced to systematically repair the architectural features,green landscape,waterfront landscape,node plaza and infrastructure in the streets,with a view to constructing natural features and humanities.A combination of traditional streetscapes featuring features.This study aims to explore the spatial characteristics of streets style in traditional villages,endow them with the functional vitality,reshape the villagers’ cognitive memory on places through the combination of participatory concept and streetscape restoration,and to provide a kind of new design method for protection and development of traditional villages. |
