With the rapid development of urbanization,the urban building scale shows a trend of high density and high-rise building.Earthquake disaster has a sudden characteristic,the buildings are most vulnerable to damage.When the earthquake disaster occurs,the buildings will shake to varying degrees and even collapse,which will inevitably cause huge casualties and property losses.The urban areas are characterized by the high density of building,economic and population,which will make the damage more serious caused by earthquake disaster.And along with the various secondary disasters,the damage of earthquake disaster is further deeper.In order to reduce the damage level of urban buildings which caused by earthquake disaster,we can simulate and restore the scene when earthquake occurs,and use the visualization technology to show the changes of the regional buildings.In this way,more pre-earthquake protection planning and epicentre rescue work are made purposefully,to improve the ability of disaster prevention and alleviation of the city.In the current explore of earthquake damage simulation of buildings,according to the refinement of the building models,can be divided into two forms: macroscopic building model and microscopic building model.The former obtains the building information of GIS and establishes the three-dimensional model by stretching,which has insufficient precision and error;The latter uses the refined finite element model,but the modeling process is complex and has low efficiency.Based on the above two models’ earthquake damage simulation,there are some problems on simulation error,low efficiency and short of visualization authenticity,which lead to the above two models can not be widely applied to various buildings earthquake damage simulation.Therefore,this thesis mentions the the combination of BIM technology and a variety of visual simulation technology,which can solve the problems of inadequate precision of macro-model and low modeling efficiency of micro-model,and can accurately restore the various changes of buildings in the earthquake.In this thesis,with the purpose of applying BIM technology to visualization research of earthquake damage simulation,the work done is as follows:(1)By analyzing the various changes of regional buildings in the actual scene of earthquake disasters,on the basis of the functional and non-functional requirements of users,the visualization platform for building earthquake damage simulation is designed and implemented.The platform supports users to import self-built BIM model and correspondingresponse displacement data,without excessive intermediate operation process,without installing any plug-ins components,the BIM building model can be simulated and visualized in the browser.The mainly functional module is the model display module,this module mainly through five functional parts: the three-dimensional display,shaking display,collapse display,component damage display and region fire simulation of the BIM to realizes the simulation visualization of the whole earthquake damage process of the building group.(2)The mainly work of this module is establishing the binding relationship of the building information models and earthquake response displacement data analyzed by finite element software.By analyzing the building information models,establishing the automatic binding relationship between building information model and displacement data,calculating the response position of each component of the model by linear interpolation algorithm to realize the shaking simulation of BIM.(3)By establishing the mapping relationship between refined graphical building information model and coarse precision physical model,using the physical engine to make up the shortage of earthquake damage calculation to realize the collapse simulation of BIM.At the same time,the secondary disasters caused by building collapse,such as component damage and regional fire simulation,to realize the damaging simulation of BIM.Through the analysis of the experimental results and the display effect of the platform,it can be seen that the feasibility and authenticity of building groups’ earthquake damage simulation and visualization research based on BIM.It can visually display the impact of earthquake damage on buildings,and provide scientific basis and technical support for earthquake prevention,disaster reduction and emergency rescue work.
