"Terrace Garden" In The Form Of A Modern Interpretation Of Tourist Resort Villa

With the development of the living standards,Aesthetic level and artistic accomplishment of the Chinese people,more and more people have put forward new requirements for the living environment.Therefore,the research on emerging garden art and garden design is of extreme urgency.This paper focuses on the "modern terrace garden" landscape design using the method of literature search research,the method of case analysis and the method of field research,and analyzes the different characteristics of Chinese and Western gardens through the study of Chinese gardens and western gardens,and finds successful cases.Integrated into the design of modern Taidi Park,this paper sums up some methods and experiences of “Modern Terrace Garden”design and concludes the following key points by studying “Kunming Ancient Kingdom Tourism Resort Villa Demonstration Zone Project” :(1)Modern Taidi Park has become a new situation in Chinese contemporary gardens,and has gradually been appreciated by the broad masses of the people which adds a new style to the landscape of our country.(2)Modern Taidi Park has the advantages of natural conditions,humanistic historical advantages,and vertical space.It can use the space gap to create a layer of scenes,each with its own unique and unique environment.(3)The design of the modern platform garden should be based on the original topographical features,combined with the local regional culture,natural landscape,and humanistic historical characteristics to carry out all-round design and integrate the cultural connotation into the design of the modern platform garden.Only by this way can it create an excellent garden landscape that has both local and human characteristics and a unique natural environment to satisfy people's mind and body.(4)Due to the sensitivity and vulnerability of the natural ecology,the terrace landscape is reconstructed according to the topography.It is easy to form a slope,which makes the land so loose that it can cause ecological damage,soil erosion,landslides,mudslides and other natural disasters.Therefore,the Taiwanese gardening industry must grasp the ecological system and carry out reasonable transformation and design through scientific engineering and technical means.
