The Application Of Traditional Water Scene Methods In Modern Garden Landscape Design

Chinese garden is known as "One place is surrounded by mountain and water to be a park or landscape," water is the crowning touch and the most expressive attractive landscaping elements for garden design, what’s more, the existing water could create a pleasing and relaxed environment.In recent years, with the rapid development of society and economy, people’s living standard has been a qualitative leap, people in the life and work of the natural environment also made new demands, as the introduction of water landscape of modern garden, the whole garden environment is full of charming element, while in the regulation of ecology, it plays an important role to meet people hydrophilic needs and visual demand. Waterscape construction system is already mature in traditional landscape, but with the development of society, the designers have to resolve new problems in the modern garden landscape.Firstly, this paper expounds the important role that water plays in human development, analyzes the traditional landscape design as well as the type of water it as a kind of landscape elements in the modern garden water feature by showing the value in exploring the modern environment of garden ideals. The paper focuses on the summarizes of the different styles of traditional construction techniques and its contents in the form of garden water features, standing modern perspective to carefully read those who have a model system to study summarizes its unique waterscape theory. The paper also analyzes the overall layout of the modern garden water features combined with the surrounding landscape elements, integration methods style forms, environmental, cultural and other landscape elements between each. Through case study of traditional landscape in waterscape design techniques used in modern garden water feature design.
