Research On The Strategic Development Of GCL Energy Company

Aim at the national energy strategy,With the national energy production and consumption reform entering the deep-water area,the traditional energy monopoly development model is being abandoned,the energy investment entities achieved diversification,the open up of power grid construction and distribution and sale business,the conservation of resources and environmental protection have become the basic national policy,the popularization of energy-saving technology and energy equipment,the entire energy industry structure and development situation is undergoing tremendous changes.As a traditional energy supply enterprise,in the face of increasingly fierce competition in the industry status quo,how to maintain a sustainable and healthy development,what kind of development strategy to adopt has become the most urgent issue for enterprises.From 2006 to 2017 GCL Energy Company's sales performance has achieved rapid growth,but since 2017 there has been a significant downward trend.The reason is that it fails to keep on market development trend when external fierce competition in industry and transformation of national energy structure occurs.So,at the same time that a new round of energy industry layout adjustment,its capital-intensive investment methods and industrial transition diversification development,coursing enterprise facing the embarrassment of high asset-liability ratio and low internal rate of return.Under the background of energy production and consumption revolution,this paper describes the development status and problems of GCL energy company from the urgent needs of energy supply enterprise transformation and upgrading.First of all,through the description of the development status of GCL energy companies,the existing problems in the development of enterprises are put forward and the reasons are analyzed.Secondly,the external environment of the enterprise is analyzed from four aspects by using the methods of literature and field investigation and analysis.Thirdly,SWOT analysis model is used to analyze the external opportunities and threats,internal strengths and weaknesses of enterprises.Through comprehensive comparison,SO growth strategy,ST diversification strategy,WO twist strategy and WT defensive strategy are formed for enterprises to choose development strategies.Finally,through the objectives of corporate strategy,the development strategy of "science and technology leading,management reform,coordinated development" is put forward,and specific safeguard measures are formulated from the aspects of enterprise equity reform,production and operation,financing management,enterprise culture,human resources and so on.Through the analysis and research of this paper,we hope to play a guiding role in the development strategy of GCL energy company,then enable enterprises to give full play to their own advantages,energy consumption demand as the traction,"science and technology + capital" as the engine,to solve the problems faced in the development of integrated energy services business,to achieve the successful transformation and upgrading of enterprises and sustainable development.It also provides reference for the transformation and development of the same type of energy supply enterprises.
