The fuse is used as a short-circuit and overload protection device.Mechanical and electrical characteristics of the insurance tube are important characteristics of safe use of insurance.However,for mechanical properties testing,it always use the method of artificial pressure to test the ceramic fuse.The test process by human operation is difficult to control accurately and prone to error.In testing of the fusing characteristics,at present,most fusing characteristic of the fuse testers in low voltage large current simulation testing method,they have a great difference with the practical application environment and they can't test explosion-proof characteristic of the fuse,lead to deviation in the practical application.In this paper,the mechanical properties and circuit breaker characteristics of ceramic insurance tube can be tested.The main contents are as follows:(1)Designing a testing platform for testing the mechanical characteristics.It is based on the direction of test stability,make the test module,AD conversion module,main control module and the upper computer module are determined to design the test scheme of mechanical characteristics of ceramic insurance tube,realized the automatic testing of the mechanical characteristics of the insurance tube.(2)Designing a testing platform for testing the fusing characteristics.Using a method of stepped impedance converter circuit with the constant current in advance and angle opening to test fusing characteristic of the fuse,designed four modules of test circuit,signal processing module,master control module and upper computer module.Designed a new fusing characteristic of the fuse test scheme to bring the test environment close to the application environment.The experimental results show that the mechanical and electrical characteristics test system have high accuracy of measurement,have the ability to test explosion-proof properties.The test pressure range is 0?100kg.Moreover,it has the function of adjusting the pressure bar with precise control,showing the function of the pressure time curve,and realizing the automatic pressure test.When testing the fuse characteristics,the system can output current range 0.03?50A.It also have the function of open conduction angle controllable,rapid transformation and switch electric current,adjust the control pressure lever motion state and exact test the fusing time.
