In the 21 st century,the market environment faced by enterprises is undergoing great changes.The advent of Internet technology has led to dramatic changes in information asymmetry between businesses and customers,with customers in an increasingly proactive position,as businesses facing the challenge of more competition.With the development of the times,the requirements of engineering projects are getting higher and higher.The work pattern of traditional engineering companies is undergoing tremendous changes.Whether the advanced design technology and the overall management level can be mastered or not,has become the important factors which restrict the rapid development of the engineering companies.For the engineering design industry,the design cycle required by customer is shorter and shorter,and the quality requirements are higher and higher.Enterprises must provide customers with services and products that are superior and more competitive than their competitors quickly.Due to the traditional design management method can not adapt to such changes,modern design tools must be adopted to accelerate the design and development process and improve the design quality.In this environment,to reshape the enterprise competition ability,the application of relevant theories and methods of BPR,through the establishment of computer integrated application of information system to optimize the design process,to realize the integration of the design and management and promote the project general contracting management,is imperative.First of all,the theory and literature review were used to analyze the related research of BPR at home and abroad.Secondly,this paper conducted an in-depth study on the current business situation and existing problems of the process,based on the specific work of Design Institute S and combined with years of experience in this field,to determine the seasonable moment of BPR.Based on the value chain tool,the business process of Design Institute S was classified,and the core business process was summarized to analyze the causes of the problems in the current design process.Then select the appropriate BPR method,determine the reengineering goal and design the business process reengineering program.Finally,the thesis pointed out procedures of implementing BPR in Design Institute S by reference the "Deming PDCA Circle".And the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to evaluate the performance of the process reengineering of Design Institute S.The significance of this study lied in: taking Design Institute S as the research object,and by analyzing its present situation and organization structure,combined with the development demands of the enterprise strategic transformation,formulated the company's BPR scheme.This is of great practical significance for improving the scientific and technological content of the design,the quality of the finished product designed and the working efficiency of the design.At the same time,it is of some reference for engineering design enterprises to carry out the process management activitie.
