Research On The Wood Art Of Traditional Theatre Buildings In Northeast Jiangxi Province

Northeastern Jiangxi Province has a large number of traditional theatre buildings,which is retained in Ming and Qing Dynasties with morphological diversity,different styles,and traditional carpentry skills.In recent years,traditional construction technology along with the introduction of the concept of intangible cultural heritage has gained more and more attention.The construction technology of Leping traditional theatre was selected as the first batch of intangible cultural heritage in Jiangxi,in 2006.It has also been included in the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage list,in 2014.However,the research on the Northeast Jiangxi traditional theater buildings are mostly about the architectural form,space research,architectural culture and decorative features etc.In this context,the author development research on the wood construction art of Northeast Jiangxi Province traditional theater buildings,combining with field researching.The wood construction art of Northeast Jiangxi traditional theater is the research object in this paper.On the one hand,starting from the “object” of traditional theater buildings in northeastern Jiangxi Province,on the other hand,starting from the “main”wood craftsmen in Northeast Jiangxi province.This paper research on craft of the northeast of Jiangxi traditional theater buildings of wood structure,construction and decoration and the production process of comprehensive record,collate,based on a large number of field investigation.Preliminary work for the protection and inheritance of the traditional theater architecture art,which may work for the protection and inheritance of the traditional theater architecture art.This paper is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the importance and necessity of Northeast Jiangxi traditional theater architecture art protection and corresponding research questions.The second chapter gives a brief introduction to the influence of natural,social and cultural aspects of the traditional opera house in the northeast of Jiangxi Province,and the traditional architecturalspecificity of the opera house.Third,four or five chapters introduced the characteristic of Northeast Jiangxi traditional theater architecture art respectively from three aspects of Northeast Jiangxi traditional theater buildings of large wood craft,small wood carving skills.The sixth chapter summarizes the Northeast Jiangxi construction and construction related folk traditional carpentry,the seventh chapter is some ideas and opinions of the author in the research and writing process.
