Urban green space has many effects, such as environmental cleaning, cooling, humidifying, improving local microclimate and beautification of urban landscape. Its attraction to residence buyers makes the surrounding residential land value-added and the land construction intensity is also affected. However,at present, domestic scholars have little quantitative research on the residential land construction intensity around green space, and the law and mechanism of green space affecting the residential land construction intensity need to be further studied. This study will try to use quantitative analysis method to study the correlation between urban green space and distribution of residential land construction intensity, and analyze the characteristics of residential land construction intensity around different green space, this study will try to improve the scientific nature of the research results through quantitative analysis and empirical research methods. This paper consists of five parts, the first part is the introduction,it defines the related concepts on the basis of clear research purposes, and determines the research contents and methods. The second part introduces the location theory,grade-rent theory and land price theory as the theoretical basis of this study, focusing on the influence of green space on the layout of residential land, the influence of green space on the intensity distribution of residential land construction and the quantitative research methods of the influence of green space on the intensity distribution of residential land construction, etc. The relevant research on the influence of green space on the intensity of residential land construction in the practice of urban intensity zoning planning in Shenzhen,Tianjin and Shanghai is focused on.The third part analyzes the current situation of central Nanjing, and characteristics of green space and residential land in central Nanjing,on this basis, the partial correlation analysis method is used to analyze the correlation, direction and degree between parks, protective green space, squares, suburb green space and residential land construction intensity. The analysis results exclude the protective green space which has little relationship with residential land construction intensity, and determine the relationship between other three kinds of green space and residential land construction intensity. The fourth part uses data description and buffer analysis method to analyze the overall change characteristics of residential land construction intensity around green space which is related to residential land construction intensity, and deeply explores its internal mechanism of action. The last part is the summary of the paper, which describes the main research conclusions, main innovation points and the shortcomings of this study. The main research conclusions of this paper include two aspects.First, parks, squares and suburb green space have weak correlation with the intensity of residential land construction on the whole, among them, parks and squares can drive the increase of residential land construction intensity around them on the whole level, showing positive influence characteristics, suburb green space plays a restrictive role on the intensity of surrounding residential land construction, and it is characterized by negative influence, and there is no correlation between protective green space and residential land construction intensity.Second, the intensity distribution of surrounding residential land construction has different characteristics in different scales and types of parks, squares and suburb green spaces, and its mechanism can be summarized as two points.First, market driven. The environmental location advantages of some green spaces in cities can increase the price of surrounding land, and further drive the intensity of residential land construction to increase.Second, human control.Because of the needs of ecology, culture and landscape protection, related planning and regulations often control or guide the land development around green space in some ecological and landscape sensitive areas, thus inhibiting the improvement of residential land construction intensity around green space.
