Research On Key Problem In Engineering Project Of IPD Model Based On BIM

One of the characteristics of the construction industry is involve many of the participants.There are inevitable contradictions among many project participants in the process of construction companies survival and development.Such antagonistic relationship have a great impact on the successful implementation of the project.Integrated project delivery has broken the situation and fundamentally solved the contradiction relationship between the project participants.This paper studied the key issues of IPD model supported by BIM.The main problems affecting the implementation of IPD model in China are discussed in detail through the exchange of information and contractual relationship.It provide theoretical support for the practice of IPD model in engineering project.The specific research content includes the following four aspects.(1)Through the comparison and analysis of the IPD model and traditional project delivery methods and the impact analysis of BIM on project construction methods,we discussed the complementarity between BIM and IPD,that is,BIM can help IPD model became truth,and the implementation of IPD can not be separated with BIM.The information integration platform provided by BIM;Based on this,through analyzing the implementation process of IPD model,the thesis points out the three-dimensional model of IPD model.(2)Through comparative analysis with traditional project delivery models,it is concluded that the IPD model has obvious advantages.Apart from information integration,this advantage also includes organizational integration and contract integration.According to this,the thesis points out the concept of integration.The concept indicates that the biggest difference between the IPD model and the traditional project delivery model is the integration.Through the analysis of the degree of information integration,it is divided into three levels,included information integration,organization integration,and contract integration.Meanwile,the thesis analysis the role of BIM in IPD model of information exchange.(3)Through the analysis of international contracts,it is found that only the AIA series and AGC series of contracts in the mainstream contract system have contract texts applicable to IPD and the two series contracts have been compared.Through the analysis of contract relations of different delivery types found that the traditional delivery model contracts are transactional contracts,while the IPD contracts are relational contracts.There are essential differences between them.This is the obstacle to the application of the IPD model contracts.Through analysis IPD organizational and contract application obstacles,the thesis points out the three levels of IPD model contract integration are the concept IPD,process IPD and pure IPD.(4)Through the analysis of the implementation process of the IPD model,it is clear that the key to its implementation is the formation of an IPD team.It focuses on the analysis of the process level IPD at the transitional level combined with the three division of contract integration.It stating that this stage is mainly to apply the integration concept to the traditional project delivery.While pure IPD in the mature stage is to use multi-protocls to work.This is the real IPD and it takes a long time to explore.According to this,it proposes IPD three-step implementation plan and recommendations.IPD is a new model emerging in the international construction industry.It has not been promoted in practice.Although there are successful cases in foreign countries and the advantages are obvious compared with the traditional model,due to its transparent characteristics,it is very difficult to promote in the country.This paper mainly studies and discriminates three key issues affecting the implementation of IPD,such as information exchange,contract relations and implementation methods.It aims to lay a foundation for the promotion of the IPD model in China and contribute to improving the efficiency of the construction industry.
