China has become the second largest economy nowadays and Chinese companies have received extensive concern in the world through the implement of The Belt and Road Initiative.China's High-speed Railway(HSR)is gradually emerging and developing in the world as well,in order to promote high-speed railway projects to foreign countries successfully,it is necessary to explore international image presenting of HSR.The research takes reports on HSR in The New York Times and The Washington Post as objects to give content analysis and text analysis.It aims to search the characteristics and HSR image presenting of the reports,then sums up to analyze the influencing factors from perspectives of Sino-U.S.relation and concept of western press.The research indicates that the reports on HSR in The New York Times and The Washington Post are somewhat different and pan-political.The reasons for that are the ever-increasing power of China has affected the media agenda,cultural differences lead to different perspectives and the dual value orientation of journalistic professionalism and market competition.
