Since China's reform and opening up,National economic growth accelerated to some extent,and the market's demand for architectural construction companies has been increasing.Under the constraints of market economy,construction companies,as an independent entity,not only provide various products for social needs,but also have the distinctive features of pursuing maximization of economic benefits.At the same time,the price of construction raw materials fluctuates with fluctuations in the market,the lowest bid price in project tendering requirements,and the cash guarantee system required by the project contractor,these three factors constrained by the market have resulted in larger construction companies.As a result,the comprehensive profits of construction companies are greatly affected,their returns are reduced,and their funds are difficult to operate.Enterprises with difficulties in their operations face enormous competitive pressures.In order to survive and develop,enterprises must force construction companies to perform project cost management for various reasons.After adopting advanced engineering cost management methods,effective management of engineering-related human resources,material resources and other necessary costs,timely deviation from various costs,and controlling the costs incurred in each link of the project within the scope of planned costs In order to reduce the cost of the project,improve the efficiency of the enterprise and increase the income of the company.Based on the actual project,the project has conducted a detailed study on the project cost management of the main track field in H city sports center.This project has the characteristics of large-scale projects,large volume,high technical requirements for building surveying and positioning,complex materials operation,and a large number of construction sections.It is more difficult for cost management than similar projects.In order to cope with the complex and ever-changing construction process,the paper relies on the engineering project department with clear division of labor and coordinated operation to systematically analyze the cost management of the project from the aspects of target cost forecasting,cost planning,and overall construction cost control.Use the earned value method to dynamically manage project costs.Through the post-completion cost calculation,it can be seen that the project manages project costs through the use of a systematic approach to achieve the expected set of cost targets,and has achieved good economic benefits for construction companies.Engineering cost management is a necessary means to ensure the normal operation of an enterprise and its coverage is very wide.From the project's designation,to construction preparation,comprehensive construction,and delivery and acceptance,cost management runs through all aspects of project construction.It is a full-time management activity that involves the entire project department.The study of this course is of great significance for improving the engineering project cost management level.
