Investigation About The Renovation Of Traditional Civil Structures In Guanzhong Area Into Bed And Breakfast Building

In the long history of the guanzhong area,various kinds of buildings emerge inendlessly.The culture,technology and custom of different times have formed various architectural forms.The traditional architecture Traditional architecture was gradually replaced by modern buildings because of performance deterioration.In recent years,the rapid development of the industry of Bed and Breakfast(BNB)has revitalized the vitality of traditional buildings.In the meantime,some unstable factors was also arisen due to the lack of experience and chaotic phenomena in the renovation project of BNB building.The main objective of this paper is providing effective advices to the renovation project in Guanzhong area through investigation and theoretical analysis.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Combining with relevant documents and materials of traditional dwellings and plenty of field investigations,basic conditions of traditional villages and typical traditional dwellings were studied.The construction layout,building materials,traditional construction technology and the current situation of building safety were analyzed and the previous homestay reconstruction methods and their advantages,disadvantages and applicability was also summarized.(2)The transmission characteristics of traditional rammed earth wall-wooden frame structure were investigated in detail.Take this type of traditional structure as an example,the refined finite element model was built and the static and dynamic analyseswere carried out.The variation of response of structure before and after repaired with steel frame was obtained.The reinforcement effect of the previous strengthen system was discussed and further advices to engineering design were proposed.(3)The results of finite element analysis indicate that the steel frame has changed the force transferring path of structure and decrease the roof loading carried by wall and wooden frame,that the steel frame has increased the natural vibration frequency of structure and enhances the integrity of the structure,and that the stress and displacement of key parts was decreased and the anti-seismic property was improved.(4)On the basis of the above investigation,the technical measures,construction technology,procedure and project cost of the renovation project of traditional rammed earth wall-wooden frame structure were summarized,combining with the engineering practice of specific project.Finally,comprehensive technical advices for the future renovation of such homestay were proposed.
