Practical teaching is an important type of education in vocational education in China.It is an important link in the integration of vocational education and social positions,and reflects the characteristics of "professionalism" in secondary vocational education.In the course of practical training,students can master the basic professional abilities,operating skills,ability to solve practical problems,and innovation abilities that are required for practical tasks in the professional field.The construction of the structure model of solid building and its application in practical training in vocational schools have brought great convenience to the practical training of professional construction schools.Since 2012,more and more vocational colleges have built structure models of solid building on the training base and put the physical building models into practical teaching.In order to explore the application of the structure model of solid building in vocational training,this paper focused on the construction of a school in GuiZhou Province as the research object.Through literature research,questionnaires,interviews and other methods,the role and disadvantages of the structure model of solid building in practical training are analyzed and summarized from the aspects of teaching effectiveness,teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching process,and teaching evaluation.Using the structure model of solid building for practical training,the students have achieved good results in the study of professional theory and mastering of operating skills,but the effect on method ability and social ability is not obvious.Through the analysis,it is found that the practical training teachers mainly lack understanding of the basic elements of the practical training system in the practical training teaching activities,and failed to establish a good relationship between the structure model of solid building and the basic elements of other practical training teaching systems.In all aspects of practical training,the advantages of the structure model of solid building have not been brought into play.Based on the theory of constructivist learning,the “tower of experience” theory,situational teaching theory,and "learning by doing" theory and other related theories,combining the advantages of the structure model of solid building,the characteristics of secondary vocational students,and the characteristics of architectural engineering,this paper expounds how to better exert the teaching effect of the structure model of solid building in the practical training of secondary vocational schools from four aspects: practical teaching objectives,practical training content,practical training process,and practical training evaluation.Combining with the proposed countermeasures and suggestions,this paper finally carried out practical training teaching case design for the "masonry structure construction" training project in the "major structural engineering construction" of the secondary vocational school,with a view to providing reference for relevant training teachers and researchers.
