With a large number of young people leaving their hometown and pouring into the first-tier and second-tier city,the "singleton phenomenon" from the after-80 s generation and after-90 s has become a social problem.There are two main reasons for this phenomenon,namely,the global information technology,the rapid change of the domestic social structure and the rapid development of the city,as well as the change of self-consciousness caused by the social,educational and ideological reasons.As young singleton promoting changes in the pattern of city,but they are very difficult to completely melt in urban society in daily life,In the mobility,heterogeneity and fragmentation of the modern society,it is difficult for this group to establish stable selfidentification.Their mental and emotional needs are becoming increasingly prominent.How to find and solve the blind spots that are hidden in the physical and mental health of young singleton is an important aspect to promote the harmonious development of society.This paper analyzed the young singleton living state and emotional needs,summed up the young singleton in the emotional compensation carrier of special needs,using the method of emotional design,VALS analysis,comparative analysis and depth interview,discussed how to live in the living system of people,pets and products,created a series of products designed to meet the real emotional compensation needs of the young singleton,based on the emotional compensation needs of young singleton,a systematic solution is put forward,which completes the design of the pet household product of the young singleton,and finally,it provides a certain reference for the design of household items for the emotional compensation of the young singleton.
