Based On The Minimalism Of The Household Items Emotional Design Research

With the rapid development of social economy,the rhythm of people's lives is becoming faster and as a consequence,people are suffering more stresses in their daily lives.Consumers want to live far away from the noisy environment and have a strong desire to enjoy a simple,pure and tender life back home.The minimalist design of household items makes our living environment more clean,but consumers will not experience the humanistic care when the design are too simply,not to mention the improvement of the quality of life.Therefore,how to integrate the emotional design into minimalist style has become a problem to be solved.Based a large number of data research,this essay analysis the user requirements and the trend of development of household items and the concept of minimalist,the connotation and typical minimalist style and also the domestic and foreign typical minimalist style and works,author also summarizes the minimalist design elements in Home Furnishing articles and method.secondly,author summarizes the design elements and methods of household items in the minimalist.Thirdly,this essay researches the concept and characteristics of emotional design,and analysis the characteristics of emotional design in household items from the emotional elements such as color,shape and texture and also the design methods of the household items of minimalism emotional design from color,material,shape and so on.This essay summarizes a full design method which is based on the household items of minimalism emotional.The method is verified through specific design example and has a certain reference value in further researches.Through the large researches that based on the design method of minimalism and household items emotional design,author has designed a series of home side table,and offers a new reference method for the household items design and all these method will laid a foundation for other similar researches.
