With the development of our economy and the contact with the international design community,the status of culture in design is becoming more and more important.Now home products design to a certain stage of development,culture has become a demand.Internationally renowned design master George · Yaruo said: "design connotation is culture." No cultural connotation of the design is not viable,deep traditional Chinese culture,if the essence of its application in modern home product design,is bound to make the design is supported by a strong culture.With the continuous improvement of people's living standards,a single functional home product has been difficult to meet consumer demand for emotion.Emotional design emphasizes people-oriented,emotional design products also need to have the dual function and spirit,so that people in the use of products in the process of feeling the humane and emotional products.Therefore,in the home product design into the traditional Chinese cultural elements,both to make the product has a cultural value,but also to meet the emotional needs of consumers.Therefore,emotional design of home products on the application of the subject based on Chinese traditional culture.The purpose of this paper is to explore the design concept of a kind of fusion of Chinese traditional culture based on emotional design.From the aspects of Chinese traditional culture and emotional design,the paper designs the household products and gives full play to the communication and interaction between household products and users,so that the consumers can enjoy the spiritual pleasure and emotional satisfaction.Based on the traditional Chinese culture of the emotional design of home furnishing products to determine the traditional Chinese culture based on the emotional design of home products,the elements and principles,and then put forward a set of scientific evaluation criteria and evaluation system,the existing home products design methods of the study were added and improved,and finally through the design of examples to verify and improve.
