Research On Construction Characteristic Of Traditional Water Environmental Facilities Of Ancient Villages In Yangquan

The ancient villages in Yangquan City have a traditional way to utilize water resources,which reflects the fact that people live in harmony with nature.However,in recent years,the natural ecological environment such as the water environment in Yangquan City is confronted with gradual deterioration,and the traditional water environment facilities such as water cellars and wells are facing obsolescence or even damage.Hence,from the perspective of ecology,the problems that this study will solve are how to protect and renew traditional water environment facilities and how to understand and inherit the construction characteristic.Based on the symbiosis between the water environment and villages in Yangquan City of Shanxi Province,this paper sums up the interrelationships between water environment and villages through field surveys,historical documents,interdisciplinary research,and quantitative analysis.To sort out types and characteristics of traditional water environment facilities,this paper mainly deconstructs the systematic operation principle of traditional water environment facilities on the �seepage,stagnation,storage,clean,use,and drainage� of rainwater.At the same time,it scientifically and quantitatively analyzes the capacity of �storage,infiltration,and drainage� of traditional water environment facilities,and taps the wisdom of local construction in the traditional water environment facilities based on material and non-material elements.In terms of the current problems in water environment and traditional water environment facilities in Yangquan,such as serious water pollution,weak awareness of protection and blind copying of the urban model,this paper proposes that the protection and renewal must be guided by the principles of internal and external integration,ecology,and coordination between villages and the outside world.Besides,modern ecological technologies should be moderately introduced,and an actionable updating strategy is proposed based on practical experience.This paper is divided into six chapters.The Chapter 1 describes the background,purpose,significance and methods of the study.The Chapter 2 introduces the general situation of water resources and ancient villages in Yangquan and analyzes the symbiotic relationship between ancient villages and water environment.The Chapter 3 sorts out types of traditional water environment facilities in Yangquan City.The Chapter 4 combines quantitative analysis methods to reveal the ability of traditional water environment facilities to �store,infiltrate,and drain� rainwater.The Chapter 5 proposes updated strategies to addresses the problems faced by traditional water environments.The Chapter 6 is conclusions and prospects,and refines the research conclusions of this paper and provides further research content to think about.
