The Research On Architectural Design For The Leading Space Of Hybrid Community Elderly Day Care Center

With the acceleration of aging of population and the trend of empty-nested phenomenon,the increasing number of disabled and semi-disabled aged may result in social ramifications for China,which means that the traditional mode of family pension and social endowment is difficult to sustain the important task of taking good care of elders.Based on living demand of elders,a new type of hybrid community old-age models is on the rise.As an essential part of community service for the aged,it combining community service,family-care and the institution-care.The aged can enjoy the items like the life care,the entertainment facilities and the medical care in day care center while cannot be far from home.The leading space of day care center,undertakes functions of transportation conversion,reception and waiting,life services and so forth,is the core organization and transition space of day care center and a must path to users.The place experience of users will be influences firstly in connection with the environment and items of leading space.This paper statistic and analyses of the basic situation of the leading space in day care center and the users' behaviors within the Shenzhen's communities,in-depth survey of space allocation,application situation and service management of some typical of the leading space,summarizing users' behavioral requirements and existing problems.Under the support of existing data,the author makes a research about aspects of spatial distribution,streamline,function configuration,material,signage system,furniture,mental and physical environment of leading space by using the experience of pension facilities abroad,summarizes the design method which adapt to leading space of hybrid community elderly day care center in Shenzhen.
