The development of automotive industry had provided great convenience and changing people's way of travel.However,the growth of traditional fuel vehicles has caused many problems such as over-consumption of oil sources and heavy environmental pollution.Electric vehicles,which are favored because of their better environmental friendly features compared with fuel vehicles,and are high hopes in an amount of countries.As one of core components of electric vehicles,battery management system plays an important part in guaranteeing the safety and stability of electric vehicles.Therefore,this thesis researched and analyzed battery management system,and designed hardware-in-the-loop test platform for battery management system.This thesis firstly introduced functions of battery management system,and by taking the requirements of both testing performance and practical engineering researches into account,the author researched and designed a hardware-in-the-loop test platform for battery management system.The thesis then introduced structures of the test platform with detailed research on each functional part,especially the hardware and software.Hardware is composed of NI PXI real-time simulation system,the core of hardware and other modules,and the software was developed based on LabVIEW and development toolkit provided by NI.The software includes two parts,PC operating interface and lower machine control program.By using Simulink to build vehicular electronic system model and power battery model,then embedding the model to the PC software platform and running the system in real-time,the author tested and verified the design of the hardware-in-the-loop test platform which entirely satisfies the functional requirements of software.The hardware-in-the-loop test platform has been successfully used for the testing of SAPT battery management system,and by accurately verifying the performance of software algorithms,control strategies and other sub-functions,the test platform illustrates its constructive effects in improving the safety,reliability and stability of battery management system products.
