Application And Research Of Plant Fiber In Product Design.

Based on the design of products,the application of green materials in product design is discussed from the perspective of green design.Among the selection of green materials,plant fiber is selected as the research subject.Since ancient times,plant fiber has occupied a significant position in human production activities.Meanwhile,it has played an indispensable role in the long development course of human.For an instance,in ancient time,the plant fiber is elaborately fabricated various kinds of life tools,utensils,paper,etc.To sum up,the plant fiber had been in the service of basic necessities of life:food,clothing,housing and transportation.Identical with the development of industrialized society,the appearence of the chemical materials have gradually become the main production material,replacing the status of traditional biological material.Simultaneously,it triggers the deterioration of the natural environment and the lack of the earth's resources.On account of the mentioned background,plant fiber materials have been given a special significance and valuable treasure in order to protect the environment in the contemporary production environment.The practical study and application of plant fiber possesses vigorous and promotive functions in numerous respects,such as:the development of environmentally friendly application fields of plant fiber material,the diversity of industrial raw materials,coupled with the reducing use of chemical materials.Renewable,biodegradable,easy to obtain,large stock,these plant fibers has many advantages in the future industrial production materials requirements.Although the fibers of the plant are slender,the fibers,interspersed with each other,are remarkably strong and resilient,and they remain light,which is what modern products require.This research through the study of plant fiber structure,jump the pure programme from the aspects of material physical properties using framework,but the depth of exploring the structure of the fiber reinforcement to make plant fiber to limit new application in product development,is the deepening research and explore the characteristics of the plant fiber.This study is to explore the new application fields of materials from various aspects of materials,including strength,toughness,plasticity,physical characteristics,visual effects and other aspects.Longitudinal look at starting from the raw materials,to the material sample,surface treatment,processing methods,degradation product forming,function transformation and recycling plant fiber materials in products from the aspects such as production and recycling process of the whole life.In this study,the modified plant fiber materials were improved by experimental practice,and the material application requirements of a mature product could be fully undertaken with the assistance of modern processing methods.The huge stock of natural plant fiber raw materials and the regeneration ability,also can prop up a industrial chain operation,so the plant fiber materials used in the production of products has practical operability.
