With the rapid development of Chinas economy,culture and tourism integration has become the trend of time.Coinciding with the new urbanization construction cycle,all types of characteristic towns have become popular projects developed by local governments and enterprises.In the construction process of characteristic towns,the construction of cultural and creative brands is very important.However,in the current development process of cultural and creative products in cultural and tourism characteristic towns,there are problems such as poor brand recognition of cultural and tourism,lack of innovative product expression forms,and disconnection between products and actual needs of users.This research takes Ruxin Town as research object.Through the case analysis of the problems and opportunities in the development of cultural and creative products in cultural tourism characteristic towns,the cultural context of Ruxin town is systematically combed.Through qualitative and quantitative consumer research,the target users of Ruxin Town are identified,the needs of consumers for the cultural and creative products of the town are collected,and the advantages of the cultural resources development of Ruxin Town are summarized.According to the development needs of cultural and creative products in Ruxin Town,the corresponding design principles are selected to guide the design practice.In the practice of brand IP design,the design orientation is firstly clarified,and the IP image design scheme of Ruxin Town is put forward,and the scheme is screened through focus groups.In the design stage of cultural and creative products,the whole process from design modeling to 3D proofing is carried out to create cultural and creative products of Ruxin Town,aiming at the theme blind box.In this way,the feasibility of design research and design process can be verified to better spread the brand and culture of the town,boost economic growth and provide reference for the construction of other characteristic towns.
