Research On Design Strategies Of Traditional Village Public Space Based On PLS Behavior Model

The soul of the traditional village public space lies in the inheritance of the traditional way of life.In the past construction process,it often only considered the construction of material space rather than the detailed consideration on the production,life style,traffic exchange process and spiritual and cultural information of the traditional village inhabitants.Based on this,the research on the public space design strategy of traditional villages,which is based on resident behavior,transforms the design theory into concrete application method,which can be used as reference for the analysis of actual cases and is used to guide the concrete protection of traditional village public space,optimization and updating.It will also be a beneficial enrichment and supplement at the level of its design approach.The content first reviewed the relevant research at home and abroad,analyzed the related basic theories of public space design,environmental behavior,social psychology and behavior patterns,at the same time studied and summarized the literature achievements of traditional village public space,expound ed its basic concepts,classification commonality and characteristic and influential factors.Secondly,to solve the problem that behavior can not be quantified to guide the design,utilize PLS calculation method and relevant behavioral model,meanwhile conducting a questionnaire survey on the selected residents in Zhenbei Village public space,to obtain the information about the use and demand of villagers in the activities of public space in traditional villages.There are four observation variables in the model: resident behavior,behavior motivation,individual ability and behavior trigger.The model of resident public behavior in traditional villages was initially generated,designing evaluation dimension,proposing five basic assumptions based on the model.Make use of Smart PLS3.0 software to test the scale reliability and validity,descriptive analysis,correlation analysis and factor analysis and a relatively complete model,meanwhile using software to test five basic assumptions and modify the model;Finally,the main conclusions of the model of residents behavior in public space in Zhenbei Village are: behavioral trigger,behavioral motivation and personal ability have a significant positive effect on residents' behavior,behavioral motivation and individual ability have a significant positive effect on behavior trigger,and behavior trigger is more important than the other two influencing factors.Based on the analysis results and the obtained conclusions,this paper proposes the public space planning and design strategy of Zhenbei Village from the aspects of enhancing compatibility,building sites,providing signals,optimizing configuration,enhancing vigor,protecting scenery,optimizing traffic,improving facilities and ensuring climate protection.Although the results of this dissertation are limited to the public space design strategy of Zhenbei village,the final results and countermeasures of this study have certain theoretical significance for the compilation of village planning and traditional village public space planning and design in China,and meanwhile its innovation research methods also provide new ideas for the study of the relevant directions.
