In order to ensure flight safety, testing of aircraft navigation equipment is very important.Due to the site and environment constraints in the R&D test phase,it is necessary to simulate navigation device signals to fully verify and identify the performance of the airborne devices. In view of this, this paper investigates the status quo of the development of aircraft navigation systems at home and abroad and the existing methods for the implementation of navigation signal simulators, and studies the design and implementation of airborne navigation test systems with flexible applications and scalability.First of all, this paper starts with the widely used instrument landing system and TACAN system, analyzes the working principle of the airborne navigation equipment and the currently widely used navigation signals, and establishes the mathematical model of the electromagnetic signals used by the navigation equipment.Secondly, for the existing hardware platform, the system structure and implementation scheme of the airborne navigation test equipment are determined. The signals are modeled by mathematical expressions, and the function of the analog navigation signal is mapped to the FPGA using System Generator.Practice has proved that using System Generator to develop a simulation program for navigation signals can reduce the development complexity and shorten the development cycle. Finally, the system debugging and verification platform is introduced, and the system related index requirements are given.By using System Generator to simulate the relevant functions of the instrument landing system and the TACAN system, software debugging of the baseband part of the system FPGA is completed. Then the compiled program is programmed into the FPGA,and the oscilloscope observes the time domain waveforms of various navigation signals through the display and control software to issue commands and complete the debugging on the hardware. In addition, the design draws on the idea of software radio, making the simulator highly integrated and easy to maintain, providing convenience for subsequent development and function development.
