The architecture design of the lab stimulator used in the navigation landing system is described in this paper and the hardware and software design of the lab stimulator is the research focus.Firstly, the working principle and signal format of the lab stimulator is introduced, based on TRSB and TDM, the system design scheme is proposed. the NC unit, signal generator unit, RF generation unit, the user interface unit and power unit of the lab stimulator is a detailed design.Secondly, the key hardware module design of the lab stimulator is introduced. This paper focuses on the key hardware module solutions and design method of the lab stimulator, puts forward the hardware design idea of and based on FPGA technology and PC104bus technology.Thirdly, the software design of the lab stimulator timing signal is introduced. According to the function definition and requirements of the lab stimulator timing signal, using the top-down design method to program on the FPGA programming by VHDL language. The software design includes the design of the top module design, main module design and sub module design. The main module and sub modules are defined and the interface between the sub module is established by the top module.Finally, the design and implementation of an actuator is summarized and prospected. To test the indicators by special equipment, performance index verification using airborne receiver, the function of the lab stimulator design requirements is all realized, and applied to the practical engineering. The design of the lab stimulator has a practical value, and provides reference for the future research work.
