The increasingly serious problem of aging has long attracted widespread attention from all walks of life.The study found that the elderly can prevent cognitive deterioration through playing puzzle games,but the market's puzzle games are rarely designed for older players.,high or low game speed will have an adverse effect on the gaming experience of the aging players.Obstruct the old players from playing live games.Therefore,it makes sense to design an age-appropriate speed difficulty system for a puzzle game that helps improve the cognitive skills of older players.The purpose of this project is to design a game speed difficulty system for games that can help older players improve their cognition,meet the needs of the elderly for cognitive ability training,and ensure the fun of the old players during the game.The methods used are literature research,electrophysiological measurement,EEG emotion measurement,EEG attention measurement,user research related analysis methods,and appropriate aging game design related methods.Through the retrieval of relevant literature,the motivation of the elderly game behavior is summarized.And game preferences,and explored the speed of the game on the elderly experience the impact of the game and the principle of appropriate aging design,while establishing the promotion of cognitive promotion of Tetris as the research goal,to further study methods and processes to make theoretical preparations.Through relevant theoretical research on game experience evaluation,the methods and indicators for assessing the gaming experience of the elderly have been established.After clarifying the game design mode that can provide players with a fun experience,EEG tests enumerates the gaming experience of senior players.Advantages and experimental methods.After that,through the development of test game materials and combined with brain electricity technology to conduct game experience tests,a total of 20 EEG data of the experimental group and the control group were collected.Use gaming experience models to quantify the gaming experience of older players with different levels of difficulty.Through the analysis of quantified data,the speed of the game that meets the abilities of the aged players is selected.In the design practice stage,the author uses the objective quantitative experience data obtained by EEG test to construct a new speed difficulty system andrelated game functions for the old players.Finally,a full-frame game prototype design is implemented in the Gamemaker Studio2 platform.Based on this,the author puts forward the Tetris game speed difficulty system that is suitable for senior players.The speed system includes the following features: 1.Ensure that old players can maintain positive emotions in the game.2.Ensure that old players can maintain stability in the game Attention 3.The speed of the game will not increase beyond the capabilities of the older players.4.Older players will not experience frustrating or boring experiences due to speed changes.At the same time,the author also designed a suitable aging version of Tetris game prototype equipped with the speed system for the elderly.
