| The style of small towns is a symbol of the display of towns and towns,highlighting the characteristics of cities and towns.It is a comprehensive reflection of the past,present and future of the town.In 2016,the National Development and Reform Commission,the Ministry of Finance,and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development decided to start working in featured townships across the country in order to enhance the development capacity of small towns,speed up the development of small towns,improve the appearance of towns,and improve people's living standards.,especially in the construction of small towns.The trajectory of the development of early small towns in China shows that the construction of small towns basically remains at a stage where they have not been able to tap their own unique advantages and natural values.In particular,with the influence and drive of new urbanization and characteristic small towns,the development of small towns is proceeding in the direction of urbanization.The urban landscape has been updated as a direct way to solve the problems of urban appearance.How to update urban styles has become a prominent issue in urban construction.Under such an environmental background,it is imperative to carry out studies on the update of the characteristics of small cities and towns.The article selects the surrounding towns of Baotou City,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,analyzes the current situation of urban development,and studies the renewal of urban scenery.As an early heavy industry city in China,Baotou City focused on urban industrial systems in its early urban construction,and its surrounding urban construction was centered on agriculture.With the gradual opening of BaotouCity,the industrial structure has not been limited to the early heavy industries.The continuous transformation of urban construction has brought about great changes in the small cities and towns around the city.The urban landscape construction has been affected by diversified industries.However,a relatively mature feature system and planning method have not yet been formed.In this paper,through reading and reviewing the literature related to the appearance of small cities and towns,with Baotou as the center,a sample survey of the status quo of surrounding small cities and towns was conducted.At the same time,the domestic towns and cities were used as examples to update cases,and the existing deficiencies in the renewal of styles were compared.The final result was Machi Town.In order to specifically update the objects,technical strategies were studied from the following two aspects.1)The overall urban aspect: Town features,urban skyline,portal space,public space,signage system,key project construction.2)Architectural details: architectural forms,architectural styles,building facades,architectural colors,building heights,detailed technical discussions on the update of styles from the details of urban architecture.Through the above-mentioned specific research on the appearance of Machi Town,we have come up with a strategy for updating the appearance of Machi Town that is in line with the current stage and has operational development.But at the same time,it is concluded that small cities and towns around Baotou City lack overall,comprehensive and professional planning and guidance in the construction of towns and towns.In town development,attention should be paid to planning strategies for small cities and towns,and corresponding planning documents should be developed for guidance.There is a lack of specific planning for the surrounding cities and towns in Baotou City.A detailed design plan is needed for the construction of cities and towns,including specific features,skylines,public spaces,logos,architectural styles,elevations,colors,heights,etc.Promote and apply,call on urban residents and the government for the awareness of the development of urban scenery,and put forward suggestions for the development of the appearance of other cities and towns around Baotou in the future. |
