The Cognition And Plan Study Of Architectural Style In The Small Town's New Area

Some issues, such as the disorder of architectural styles, the absence of urban identity, etc., caused extended concern during the dramatic development of small towns, This paper addresses these problems from perspective of urban planning, and studies the approaches of architectural style planning by taking Yuhuan architectural styles planning as an example.Primarily, this paper proposes the existing problems of small towns' architectural style and the necessity of architectural style planning. Secondly, the concept of architecture style is introduced, classified as well as summarized from two different perspectives, which are the architectural style history and cognition planning. Tertiarily, the relation between architectural style planning and urban design is analyzed, and the architectural style planning is learned from the theory and methods of urban design. This paper focuses on the whole process of recognition and planning of Yuhuan architectural styles which are elaborated at large in the article. The author believes that the cognition should be divided into three levels- image, appearance and abstract, which are the premises and basement of planning. In the cognitive level of abstract, this paper tries to get the objective foundation of architectural style planning in use of quantitative deduction method, which the paper gives a detailed description. Finally, three measures on implement and management of architectural style planning are proposed targeting the concrete situation of Yuhuan. The current study is in the tentative stage which needs constantly added and improved.
