The Renovation And Renewal Design Of Historic District In Baoding

This subject is based on the protection and renewal of historic and cultural district,and then analyzed the conservation status and specific cases of historic districts both at home and abroad.After that,taking the West Street of Baoding as the research and design object,then explained the present situation and analyzed existing problems of West Street and internal folk houses.Then refined inscape of landscape in West Street,renovated one internal folk house which was conflicted with the street style and features of West Street.In order to explore the protection countermeasure and feasibility of design expression in historic district and courtyard space,in terms of street landscape optimization,respecting the authenticity of historic district and apply local characteristics of folk culture to landscape design,restore the original scenery of historic district.In the respect of renovation of folk house,while retaining the “three-section compound” architectural layout,make full use of the advantages of the original courtyard space,to seek the adaptability between traditional courtyard space and urban construction.Finally,find the means of inheritance and appropriate design expression of courtyard space that is adapt to the needs of current life,continue the historic context of the courtyard.
