| Coal gangue is an abandoned rock produced by coal mining.At present,coal gangue belongs to a new type of road building material.The Bayanolaole Mine in Ordos of Inner Mongolia has accumulated a large amount of coal gangue in recent years.The open storage of coal gangue not only takes up a large amount of land,but also pollutes the environment.Therefore,in order to solve the coal gangue that has accumulated in the area and use it as road building material,it is necessary to analysis the engineering properties such as physical chemistry and mechanics,and study the applicability of coal gangue as road building material in the area,which provides a reference in the application of highway construction.In this study,the coal gangue of Bayanolaole Mine in Ordos of Inner Mongolia is taken as the research object,and the road performance of the coal gangue is studied.Firstly,the physico-chemical and mechanical properties of coal gangue are analyzed to analysis the relevant characteristics of coal gangue in the area.Secondly,the particle composition of coal gangue and the mixing ratio and compaction characteristics of cement-stabilized coal gangue are analyzed to determine the gradation ratio,the optimum moisture content and the maximum dry density.Thirdly,the mechanical properties of cement-stabilized coal gangue are analyzed.The results show that the 7d unconfined compressive strength of the material satisfies the specifications of the high-grade highway.It is required that the unconfined compressive strength increase rapidly with the age and the growth in the later period is slow.The maximum stress of the 90 d split strength increases with the increase of the cement content,and the maximum strain decreases with the increase of the cement content.And its value is 0.55~0.85 Mpa,the modulus of compressive rebound increases with the increase of cement content,but the sample absorbs less and less energy,its value is 1800~2600 Mpa;Fourth,The anti-shrinkage characteristics of cement-stabilized coal gangue are analyzed.The results show that the loss of water in the sample is the main reason for the cracking of the sample.When the cement content is 5%,the anti-shrinkage properties are relatively good.Fifth,the stability of the cement coal The durability of the stone was analyzed.The results show that the material has a strength assurance rate of about 90% after 5 cycles of freeze-thaw cycles and a mass loss of less than 1%.The material has good frost resistance and can be used in cold areas,and The material has a small content of macropores,mesopores,many small pores,and the mixture is dense.Finally,the road performance of coal gangue in the mining area was summarized and evaluated. |
