Gangue is a kind of solid waste emissions in the largest, covering the most, serious pollution of the environment of variety of industrial waste, impact on people's lives, production and physical and mental health seriously. In the way of comprehensive utilization of coal gangue, used as roadbed fill can reduce land costs, improve the local environment, with significant economic and social benefits. However, there is no Indexes and standards to guide gangue applications in the current Standards of roadbed. Therefore, study on the road performance of gangue filling embankment is of great practical significance.Paper experiments on principal physical nature, chemical nature, engineering mechanical character and field road performance depending on Qinglan Highway solid project, using coal gangue of mining area in Handan, Hebei Province as subject investigated, basing on consulting much domestic and foreign documentation. The main contents are as follows:1, Study on the impact of gangue mineral composition, chemical composition, activity, morals and self-ignition to the filling the roadbed from raw materials physics and chemical properties.2, Study on the grading of coal gangue, compaction, carrying capacity, stability and other characteristics through the interior road performance testing to determine the feasibility of coal gangue filling the roadbed.3, Study on the compaction of the particle shattered, water stable and shear capacity, the results showed that: improved graded direct result of the pressure of coal gangue, water and other performance enhancing stability.4, Study on the construction technology and quality control points of coal gangue systemly. And study the contents of the verification through trial and road paving.5, Study on the scene road Performance of gangue embankment through the test of the crushing valueof coal gangue, grading, the deflection and Modulus of Resilience, and other data. And return to determine the the relationship of deflection and Modulus of Resilience, And recommend standards and comparative analysis of the formula.6, Analyse economic benefit of applicating coal gangue and soil in highway, and present suggestion for promoting coal gangue as subgrade filler and protecting circumstance overall.
