Coal gangue is an accessory in the process of coal mining.It is not only solid waste,but also available resources.It has dual natures.At present,the comprehensive utilization level of coal gangue in China is not high.Coal gangue is usually randomly piled and discarded as industrial and mining waste,causing waste of resources and seriously affecting residents’lives.However,in highway construction,there is a huge demand for pavement materials.If coal gangue is combined with emulsified asphalt to prepare a mixture for highway engineering,this measure will have a broad prospect.Therefore,this paper takes the gangue in Tiefa area of Liaoning Province as the object to carry out the following research:First.The samples of coal gangue are classified,and the physical and chemical properties and engineering characteristics of coal gangue are analyzed by relevant tests.The results show that the grain grading of coal gangue is good,and the physical and chemical properties of relevant aggregate meet the requirements of aggregate test of highway engineering.At the same time,the basic indexes of emulsified asphalt are tested.The results show that coal gangue and emulsified asphalt can be used as raw materials of road building materials.Secondly.Carry out laboratory test to study all indexes of emulsified asphalt coal gangue mixture,the cleavage strength is 0.308MPa,the ratio of dry and wet cleavage strength is 77%,Marshall stability is 8.57k N,and Marshall residual stability in water immersion is 75%;study the road performance of mixture,in which the high-temperature performance adopts the high-temperature rutting dynamic stability test result of 1328 times/mm;the low-temperature performance adopts bending failure test to destroy strain The result is 2588με,and the dynamic stability ratio is 86%by using the soaking rut test.Thirdly,three common types of road structure are put forward and compared with emulsified asphalt coal gangue and asphalt macadam.By using the finite element analysis and calculation method,the mechanical index of the model is analyzed.It can be seen that compared with asphalt macadam base,coal gangue is slightly lower than asphalt macadam structure,but it meets the relevant requirements,that is,emulsified asphalt coal gangue concrete can be used as light traffic Filling materials for the road base of the passage.Then,the design parameters of emulsified asphalt mixture are studied,including the modulus of structural layer,vehicle action and thickness,and the corresponding stress distribution characteristics are simulated and analyzed.Last.Checking the pavement design indexes,including permanent deformation Ra of asphalt mixture layer,vertical compressive strain of subgrade top surface,low temperature cracking index CI of asphalt surface layer,fatigue cracking life Ne2of inorganic binder stabilized layer of pavement structure,meet the requirements of relevant design specifications.
