Study On The Claim Management Of Contractor During Construction Stage Based On The BIM

After years of rapid growth,the construction industry has become a pillar industry in China’s economy.However,due to the relative saturation of the construction market,the growth rate of the construction industry’s output value has begun to decline.As China’s economic policy has shifted from an investment-oriented model to a consumer-oriented model,the construction market has further shrunk,companies of the construction industry will face severe challenges.The refined management can reduce the cost and increase the profits so that the enterprises can maintain their competitiveness in the ever-changing market environment.Meticulous management is the inevitable trend of the development of China’s construction.As an innovation tool for the construction industry,BIM can greatly improve the management ability of the enterprise,and then improve the competitiveness of the enterprise.This paper integrates building model,schedule data,cost data together as a 5DBIM information platform,which realized data sharing.Based on BIM platform,the paper program the process of cliam combined with the practical work,design and realize Claim Management Module of the construction units in construction.This module takes progress as the main line of research and uses the interface provided by Navisworks to monitor changes in progress data and cost data during construction.When a progress delay or cost overrun is discovered,the system creates a claim event with the assistance of a clerk.The system will display and track claims until the event is finished.This module simulates the claims management of the construction unit in the construction process,explores the way of refined management in claims management,and improves the competitiveness of the company.
