As a kind of high-altitude special operation equipment,The Building Maintenance Unit(BMU)is mainly used for maintenance,cleaning and lifting heavy objects on the outer walls of high-rise buildings.Due to its practicality,it has gradually been popularized in China and has become one of the indispensable equipment for high-rise buildings.With the construction of tall buildings,the demand for BMU will continue to increase,which will also increase the requirements for the safety and timeliness of the design of BMU.In the past,traditional design methods were inefficient,and it was difficult to keep up with the update and iteration of BMU.It has multiple structures for telescopic arms,and the design process is quite complicated.This article uses this as an entry point to develop an Parameterized Design System and Standard Parts Library of Independent Telescopic Arm of the pitch-type BMU.The specific contents are as follows:First,based on a large number of engineering examples,summarize the rules of the telescopic boom structure,study its design scheme,determine a set of universal motor-driven independent telescopic boom structure model,and design and select various components on the arm to ensure that the telescopic arm can Meet the requirements of various working conditions to ensure safety.Second,study the dimensional relationship between each part,formulate it,summarize the design process of the BMU,and program it.With the help of tools such as Microsoft Visio Studio platform,Solid Works modeling software,Access database and other tools,we developed an auxiliary design system for the motorized independent telescopic boom driven by the tilting BMU to assist the designer to design the BMU.Finally output design parameter table,three-dimensional model and engineering drawings.Finally,the standard parts library for BMU is developed.The standard parts library relies on the main system.Its function is to assist designers in calculating and selecting standard parts for BMU.The standard parts library contains a large number of different types and models.It can meet all the requirements of the existing BMU design.In addition,maintenance functions are provided to facilitate the later addition,deletion,and modification of the standard parts library.Parameterized Design System and Standard Parts Library of Independent Telescopic Arm of the pitch-type BMU can greatly shorten the structure design development cycle,improve the design efficiency and ensure its safety,and can be applied to a variety of telescopic boom structural designs,which is extremely versatile.With the continuous efforts of system developers,the system functions will be more perfect.
