Study On Settlement And Architecture Along Huaiyan Transportation Route

The Huai salt transportation route is an ancient commercial and trade route that spreads in the eastern part of China,Not only does it have a profound impact on the development and prosperity of the regions such as Jiangsu,Anhi,Jiangxi,Hunan,Hubei,and Henan,but it also plays a significant role in promoting the development of settlements and architectural culture.It can be said that the Huai salt transportation route is the carrier for the prosperity economic,and it is also an important medium for spreading the culture in different regions.From birth to flourish because of salt,from spreading culture to self-contained culture,The transportation of ancient salt road is not only aboul salt and the development of the economy,but also bred a culture created by salt.The salt industry culture has a profound influence on the distribution,spatial forms and architectural features along the line.This paper takes the distribution of transportation routes as the main clue,and based on a large number of literature readings,field research,and ancient building surveys and mappings.Study the historical and value significance of the formation of transportation routes,and systematically analyze the formation background,type distribution,spatial forms,and architectural characteristics of settlements along the line;and use ancient salt roads as spatial sequences to explore the settlements and buildings along the line;and the ancient salt road as a spatial sequence to explore the law of the evolution in the settlements and buildings,in order to reveal the characteristics of the "cultural blending" presented by the influence of the salt industry.The analysis is carried out through four parts:The first part is to clarify the foundation of the Huai salt transport route in the Qing Dynasty by sorting out the salt maps of four provinces and the Huai salt profile;In the second part,on the basis of the introduction of salt maps of four provinces and the Huai salt profile,the distribution of the Huai salt ancient road in six provinces of Jiangsu,Anhui,Jiangxi,Hubei,Hunan,and Henan was sorted out.The third part expounds the relationship between settlements and Huai salt,the distribution characteristics and spatial forms of settlements on the Huai salt transportation line,and combines the three typical settlements along the line as the research object to analyze the influence of the "salt industry" on the settlemenl street space.The fourth part will sort out the salt merchants' houses,sall control buildings,and salt sales buildings along the linealong the route,analyze the blending of materials,construction techniques and architectural skills,in order to discuss the new characteristics brought by salt transport to buildings along the lines through comparative research methods.
