Study On Settlement And Architecture Along The Ancient Salt Transportation Route Of Guangdong And Guangxi

The salt industry of Guangdong and Guangxi plays an important role in the history of salt industry in China.Guangdong and Guangdong Salt areas have been rich in sea salt since ancient times.They are sold throughout Guangdong and Guangxi,and in parts of Fujian,Jiangxi,Hunan,Guizhou and Yunnan,with a total of seven provinces.The government has formulated a strict salt law system to control the production,transportation and marketing of sea salt,so as to control the huge Salt-tax revenue.The ancient salt transportation road records the salt industry history of Guangdong and Guangxi,and it is the living-fossil of the salt industry development history of Guangdong and Guangxi.The ancient salt transportation road in Guangdong and Guangxi is the transportation route of salt industry in Guangdong and Guangxi.The rise and fall of salt industry development are all recorded on the ancient road.Salt merchants and other salt industry related practitioners,as the main body of activities on the ancient road,spread the culture of different areas on the ancient road,which can be said to have a profound impact on the development of settlements and buildings along the road.The ancient salt transportation road connects the settlements and buildings in different areas.When the salt transportation of Guangdong and Guangxi reaches the settlements along the line,it greatly promotes the development of settlements and buildings in various areas along the line.This paper attempts to take these salt transport routes as the starting point,explore the cultural relevance between different settlements and buildings on the salt transport routes,find the cultural relationship between different salt transport routes and the embodiment in settlements and buildings,and try to explain the impact of salt industry activities on the settlements and buildings on the salt transport routes.This paper advances step by step through the following four parts: the first part comprehensively analyzes the production,transportation,sales,salt law system and salt industry relics of Guangdong and Guangxi salt industry through reading and sorting out a large number of basic data of Guangdong and Guangxi salt industry,as well as field investigation and mapping;The second part analyzes the sea salt transport routes including the general situation of the transport modes of water transport,sea transport and land transport,the salt transport routes under the pattern of "one horizontal and three vertical" and the unique salt trade pattern in the salt area.The third part analyzes the salt industry settlement and the salt industry building on the ancient salt transportation road in detail.The salt industry settlement first expounds the relationship between the salt industry and the settlement in Guangdong and Guangxi,and divides into the salt production settlement and the salt transportation settlement from the formation and change of the settlement,the distribution characteristics,the form characteristics and so on.Salt industry architecture analyzes its own characteristics from four aspects: salt producing architecture,salt selling architecture,salt business residence and salt industry sacrifice architecture.The fourth part discusses the relationship between the salt transport area and the river in the salt area of Guangdong and Guangxi under the system of "Gai bu gui gang",the relationship between the salt industry area and the salt industry building area,and the relationship between the salt industry area and the building area.
