Research On The Design Strategy Of Complex Space For Housing-like Buildings In Mongolia

In the 21 st century,the sustainable use of energy and the sustainable development of the environment have become the theme of the times.The miniaturization,light weight,ease of assembly and construction,and even the movement of buildings as an important direction of architectural research in the 21 st century are causing widespread concern.The research and practice of lightweight,miniaturized buildings represent the reflection of contemporary scholars and architects on human activities—reducing the weight of building components,saving energy,and protecting the environment.Grassland nomadic yurts are a lightweight,miniaturized,movable building type and represent a sustainable living model and construction behavior.However,in the moment,the traditional ecological house of the grassland yurt is no longer the main form of dwelling for the herdsmen.The yurt is widely used in the prairie tourism resort and it is fully used,because they are easy to construct,easy to assemble,and they do not cause serious damage to the pasture environment..Based on the above background,the yurt residence model and construction methods,this study proposes a study on the communal yurt residential building complex space design strategy.And study from the following aspects:(1)Investigation and analysis of the current situation of Mongolian yurt development in grasslands in Inner Mongolia.Summarize its practical application needs,production and processing status,so as to understand the evolution of its spatial model and construction methods.As a kind of sustainable living model,Mongolian yurt has important inspiration and reference significance for this study.(2)Overviewing about the characteristics of the yurt-like residential buildings and researching the phase of domestic and foreign typical cases.(3)Based on the research of the case at home and abroad,researching and analysising the generation strategy of the composite space are conducted from the angles,from human scale,space,structural systems and equipment,etc.So as to summarize the general methods for designing the composite space design of the yurt-like residential buildings,and provide the theoretical basis for the relevant design proposals.(4)Based on the study of case and the summary of design strategy,completing the corresponding yurt-like residential building complex space design proposals,and corresponding analysis from the perspective of space and structural systems.This study is a design study.The research results aim at inheriting and developing the similar yurt’s living model and construction method,so as to reduce the scale of construction and save space.It not only can meet the actual needs of Inner Mongolia grassland holiday tourism and residential construction,but also can be widely used in other residential areas.It is of great significance to continuously expand the development ideas of related buildings in China and continuously innovate building production and construction technology,meet the actual needs of social production development,and comply with the concept of sustainable development.
