Study On The Planning And Design Of The Protection And Renewal Of The Old City Of Chengjiang From The Perspective Of Cultural Tourism Industry

China's rapid urbanization has led to the incessant expansion of city space scale.Traditional culture of old city with centuries history gradually fade away.City diversity is also disappearing inch by inch,which results in the phenomenon of cultural convergence and urban characteristic crisis.So how could old town be developed? More specific,protection and renewal of old town is urgent.This thesis,taking Chengjiang Old City as an example,is based on the reflection of the initial city plan of the old city.The existing problems and future development conditions are studied via investigation and analysis of the cultural tourism resources,industrial developent,present situation of traffic style and cultural environmental satisfaction in Chengjiang Old City.In combination with the current development situation and changing the perspective of renewal,the cultural tourism industry is used as a means to protect and update the old city.By tourism planning in advance;promote the old city and Fuxian Lake "image superposition";broaden access to investment and financing;making full use of the national policy,give priority to the construction of national capital subsidy projects;the four major strategies to ensure the development of cultural tourism industry in the old city.It also hopes to provide useful reference for the protection and renewal of other old cities in China.City plan and design for protecting and renewing Chengjiang Old City is based on “respect for natural and historical culture".This study is a practice trying to protect and renew regional old city based on Chengjiang's physical space characteristics,industrial features,ecological and historical cultural characteristics,and so on.
