The Study On Design Of Biomedical Laboratory Building In Colleges And Universities

Biomedical laboratory building in colleges and universities is one of special laboratory buildings which have the dual-nature of campus building and laboratory building and contains teaching,scientific research,production,communication,and social service functions.Comprehensive variety of factors to solve the problems of site selection and overall layout,organization and design of space and internal and external environment is the focus of its designThis thesis firstly analyzes the characteristics of biomedical research laboratory buildings in institution of higher education through the research of domestic and overseas research overview and the trend of biomedical development.It is suggested that this kind of architecture is a combination of science and humanity,with multi-function composition,special experimental space and special requirements for architectural space environment.On these characteristics,a related design strategy is proposed.First of all,the selection of site and overall layout should focus on its role positioning,and the comprehensive function,environment,campus structure and other factors should be considered.Secondly,the organization and design of space should pay attention to the flexibility of space,the special requirement of experiment and the socialization of space.Thirdly,it is pointed out that the environment inside the building should meet the multi-level needs of the users,and the inner and outer space should be integrated and utilized to create a good external environment with landscape vegetation,building volume and facade image.Finally,through the actual project design of the primate translational medicine research center of Kunming University of Science and Technology,verifying the design strategy which is proposed above.
