The Design Of Refrigeration Hold For Large Size Refrigerated Store And Transportation Ship

According to the significant development of distant water fishing industry in recent years,the total number of distant water fishing ships is increasing in short period magnificently.In this case,how to balancing the durability and transportation efficiency of ships is one of the most important issues concerned by designers.Medium and large refrigerated store and transportation ships provide an option for the market.This paper investigates the refrigerated store room design for large refrigerated store and transportation ships in three parts.Take the 4900m3 refrigerated store and transportation ship as an example.The first part of this paper demonstrated the statues of Chinese distant-water fishing industry.Generally,the main issue is the transportation ability cannot satisfy the market's requests because of the significant increase of fishing vessels.In this case,large refrigerated store and transportation ships are becoming hot topics.The second part is about longitudinal structure strength design based on China Classification Society's(CCS)Rules for Classification of Sea-Going Steel Ships.The finite element method(FEM)software ABAQUS is for structural strength validation by analysis the strength of refrigerated store room.With pictures and diagrams,the conclusion from ABAQUS is similar to the calculation based on rules,which provided the qualification of design.The third part introduced the design of temperature control system for refrigerated storerooms.By considering the manufacturing quality in China,a series of guidelines are provided for pipes arrangement,store rooms location in ships.
