Research On Application Of Environmental Psychology In Landscape Design Of Urban Parks

In the process of socio-economic development in recent decades,China’s urban parks have achieved remarkable results and the appearance of urban parks has greatly improved.At the same time,there are many problems in the landscape design of the park.In the design,it is not uncommon for small countries to imitate big countries,and medium and small cities to imitate big cities.This requires the designer to plan and design the park according to the tourists’ behavior and psychological needs.From the perspective of the theory of environmental psychology,a reasonable landscape design is made so that the park landscape can satisfy people’s physiological and psychological needs.This thesis starts from the research of urban park landscape design,combines the existing theories of environmental psychology,the analysis method combining theory and examples,and makes the research results more practical.In terms of theory,the paper analyzes relevant theories of environmental psychology based on the summary of existing theoretical research results,and interprets perception,perception,cognitive theory and park landscape design,and divides the park landscape into sensory impressions.Hierarchy,spatial perception level,landscape cognitive level.Step by step,to achieve the scene of landscape blending.The landscape design level of the park combined with the psychological needs of the tourists was analyzed.The sensory impression level landscape design was used to meet the needs of tourists’ safety and comfort.The landscape material elements mainly included: garden road landscape,markers,nodes,regions and borders,etc.;Perceived hierarchical landscape design to meet the needs of social contacts of visitors-the construction of private spaces includes: accessible roads,appropriate private spaces,and comfortable scales;landscape cognitive landscape design to meet the needs of visitors to meet novelties landscape ideas include: It enriches the diversity of park landscapes,creates a public safety system for belonging,and enhances the innovation of regional cultural expression.In practice,take the landscape design of Muyushan Park in Tongcheng City as an example.According to the previous theoretical research results,the landscape design of Muyushan Park was carried out from three levels,and the landscape that meets the psychological needs of tourists was designed to achieve a blend of scenes.This article hopes to provide new ideas for the application of environmental psychology in urban landscape design,in order to change the similarity of landscape design of modern urban parks,and provide a realistic theoretical basis for the elevation of urban park landscape.
