Environmental Psychology In The Park Design

Park is Greenland that collects visiting, viewing and admire, rest, sport and recreation in integrative place for the residents utilizing everyday. Simultaneously, it beautifies the urban landscape, improves the urban environmental quality, and heightens the functions of disaster prevention and reduction which is the back garden to culture the body and mind for the people of all social strata, and keep human physical and psychological health. With the developing of city, park which is the indispensable component in modern life is regarded increasingly in environmental psychology of designing. There is a practical, artistic and needful park only if you introduce the theory of environmental psychology into park designing according to the hominine different requirements.This paper summarized the basic principles of park designing with environmental psychology according to Malosse's hierarchy of needs, based on the theories of sentience, perception, cognition and Environment-Behavior.
