With the gradual application of digital control systems in complex industrial system, the information display in main control room of industrial system has changed significantly, among which the contradiction between massive information and limited display capability has generated some new human errors steadily.Generally,human-machine task interruption is a common phenomenon in the human-machine interaction process.Under accident conditions,it is important for operators to obtain key information immediately from the man-machine interface and execute the correct procedures. Moreover, the information feature encoding such as color, size, location, etc.have an impact on the transmission of information.Among them, color coding is an significant coding method of visual information display.Human engineering shows that the color environment has a certain impact on human physiology and psychology.Information coding that conforms to the cognitive characteristics has a vital influence for operators to get key information in time and effectively, reduce cognitive load and ensure the safe operation of the system.Based on these,we compared the difference between the nuclear power plant digital control system and traditional simulation master control room, and found the new features of the human-machine interface information display in digital nuclear power plants:(1)the contradiction between massive information and limited display;(2)unstable display position of the man-machine interface and the search and increasing query actions;and(3)the new human factors caused by change of the operating style. This paper analyzes the characteristics of the digital man-machine interface information display, studied the information acquisition model of operators and analyzed the human factors that may arise in the process of information acquisition through the influence of the information display characteristics of the digital man-machine interface of the nuclear power plant on operators cognitive behavior and the theory of cognitive psychology, ergonomics, interactive design and so on.In addition,we focus on the effect of information color coding on the information display characteristics during the digital human-machine interface monitoring task process and human-machine task interruption condition. The results of the experiment indicated that(1)information display ratio have a marked impact on information presentation ratio, and the information presentation ratio decrease with increasing information display ratio;(2)the effects of information display ratio on information presentation ratio are different among different information display ratio levels. This paper is expected to further optimize the design of the digital human-machine interface for large-scale industrial systems, reduce the operator's cognitive load and improve the reliability of human errors.
