In the north and northwest of China, there is a shortage of water resources in the North China and northwest china. With the parameters and capacity of turbo generator rising, feedwater pump comparison has certain advantages in economy in electric feed water pump, and the characteristics of China's current power grid scheduling is scheduling according to the output power generator, when the power is the same, using steam feed pump than the electric water pump the ratio of output power to be large, thus increasing Internet consumption improve the economic benefit of power plant. But there is also an important problem of the exhaust steam cooling mode for the air cooled turbine generator. For the pump turbine exhaust steam cooling is divided into three kinds, cold, indirect cooling, direct discharge cooling. But because of the new power generation project, water consumption index has been increasingly compressed, according to the current water consumption index of direct air cooling unit has been unable to realize the operation mode of the pump turbine for humidicold.Although the indirect cooling technology is mature, meet the water saving targets, but the system is complex, huge investment. The direct cooling system is simple and can meet the water saving target.According to the central power plant 350 MW supercritical direct air cooling unit as the research object, combined with the actual operation situation, through the method of back pressure test unit, the application of feedwater pump turbine exhaust steam straight cooling mode in supercritical direct air cooling unit. The operating characteristics and response ability of the feedwater pump turbine are studied emphatically.
