This paper,carbon black is used as a modifier to modify the base asphalt to obtain carbon black asphalt.In order to determine the optimum preparation temperature,carbon black content,carbon black types of carbon black asphalt.First three indexes and rotational viscosity test were conducted on carbon black asphalt which prepared with different preparation temperature,carbon black content,and carbon black types before and after thin film oven test.Secondly,through the analysis of penetration index,penetration-viscosity index,viscosity-temperature index,equivalent softening point,equivalent brittleness,residual penetration ratio,residual ductility ratio,softening point increase,viscosity ratio,aging index and other major performance index to analyze and compare the performance of carbon black asphalt before and after thin film oven with Multiple indicators.In order to investigate the effects of different factors on viscosity of carbon black asphalt,therefore rotational viscometer was used to measure viscosity of carbon black asphalt under various factors.moreover,the preparation temperature,Carbon black content,carbon black type,rotor type,rotational speed,torque,constant-temperature time and rotation time on rotational viscosity of carbon black asphalt.Owing to asphalt thermal conductivity has a great influence on the temperature sensitivity of asphalt pavement.Therefore,the thermal conductivity experiment of matrix asphalt and carbon black asphalt before and after aging is carried out in this paper.The study results show that the carbon black can greatly improve temperature sensitivity,high temperature stability,anti-aging performance of asphalt;the ductility decreases less,better anti-aging effect,lower viscosity,more convenient construction,high-temperaturestability and the best modification when the preparation temperature is 130 ~ 150 ?,the carbon black content is about 5%,Carbon black type is N660.Carbon black asphalt preparation temperature,carbon black content,carbon black type,rotor type,rotation speed,torque,constant temperature time,rotor rotation time,have greatly impact on viscosity of the carbon black asphalt,when the testing temperature is lower,such as 60 °C.furthermore the measured temperature is higher the impact is small;Under normal circumstances,the larger the rotor model,the greater the speed,the longer the constant temperature,the rotor rotates the longer time,the smaller the viscosity of the carbon black asphalt,and finally tends to be stable.Carbon black asphalt pavement is easier to dissipate heat than matrix asphalt pavement.
