Plateau has vast area in our country,with the development of China's economy,more and more demand for vehicles in the plateau,how to guarantee the performance of vehicles on the plateau has become the top priority.To supercharge the diesel engine on the plateau has long been the problem in each big diesel engine factory,Because it is hard to match both applicable to the plateau environment and applicable to the original environment high efficient diesel engines.To solve the problem,sequential turbocharging system was put forward to solve the above problems.In this paper,first of all,some instructions with the development status quo of the supercharged diesel engine on the plateau,and the sequential turbocharging system was mad.Then the method of using mathematical simulation process of turbocharged diesel engine are introduced with the method of numerical simulation can obtain similar results with the actual diesel engine work process.This thesis also mad some instruction on GT-Power,A detailed explanation of building model and some measures to solve problems were given.After the model was established for the external characteristic of diesel engine simulation research,the simulation of contrasted the simulation value and the actual experimental data,the results found that the simulation value and experiment value difference completely within the scope of the requirements,illustrates the model is correct.,according to some related formulas and target values calculated the sequential turbocharging system needed to achieve the throughput and pressure ratio,and then proves that the selected two supercharger can meet the requirements,and with the joint operation of diesel engine point is located in the high efficiency area.Then the sequential turbocharging model is established and the sequential turbocharging model to do the calculation,by calculating results show that the sequential turbocharging system to deal with the problem of the worse performance of low-speed diesel engine has superiority.Finally,this paper studied the in plateau environment on the applicability of sequential turbocharging system,and the calculated results with the original machine on the plains and the performance of the original machine on the plateau.Results showed that the sequential turbocharging system solved the high altitude low load or low speed diesel engine performance is poor.For diesel engine in plateau performance variation problem put forward the new solutions,and given the validation.
