Since the separation of the State Grid and power plant in 2002,China's power generation capacity from 350 million kilowatts in 2002 to 2016 has reached 1.65 billion kilowatts,becoming the world's largest power producer.But this is too extensive growth,also exposed a lot of problems.China's current power generation installed on the overall situation showed an excess of the situation,and this situation in the commercial power-based "three North" area is particularly serious.In 2015,the State Council issued a further power reform of the relevant documents on the power market construction,power trading mechanism,transmission and distribution price,distribution and other related provisions to make clear the requirements,in this situation,The competition is extremely intense in the local power generation market.The power generation company L is based on G province use power generation for the main business of the company.At present,due to the province's power generation capacity surplus,lack of spending power,leading to fierce competition in the electric industry market,sales prices continued to decline.At the same time,due to the sharp rise in fuel prices over the past year led to soaring costs,the company operating a more substantial loss needs urgent strategic research.This study use the power generation company L as a research object,by using the relevant theories of enterprise strategy management,PEST analysis,Porter five force model,value chain model,VRIO framework,SWOT analysis method and other tools,combined with the enterprise itself and the whole industry development status,analyzing the company's external macro environment and the internal competitive environment of the electric industries,especially to the internal value of the company and the ability to conduct of resources.The study found that the original development and operation of power generation business model has been unable to cope with the fundamental changes in the current market situation,L companies can't be confined to the original single production model,should actively adapt to the direction of reform to non-water in renewable energy and transmission and distribution of the gradual opening up as an opportunity to supply the market in a competitive power market environment through the diversification of distributed photovoltaic power generation project investment and construction,to take forward to the integration of emerging manufacturing and industrial park distribution business,At the same time through technological research and development and transformation of existing equipment to reduce the level of energy consumption to achieve cost leadership and the sale of low-cost assets,trying to change from a single power generation enterprises to the power of integrated service providers to reverse the current unfavorable situation.On this basis,we need to adjust the organizational structure,active marketing,reduce procurement costs,strengthen production operations,optimize human resources and capital operations to the company's new strategy for the implementation and protection to help enterprises in the future long-term development.With the significant changing of original transaction mode,the short-term competition between enterprises will become increasingly fierce,but in the long run,power transactions on the power companies shackles will be broken,power generation enterprises ushered in new opportunities for development.According to this situation,this paper aims at making suggestions for the future development of company L and provide a reference for the other enterprises in the in the same industry.
