With the extension of the expressway opening time and the continuous increase of traffic volume,the use performance of the expressway is gradually attenuated,and the amount of maintenance work required to be carried out has also greatly increased.Under the condition of limited funds and resources,scientific decision-making on maintenance and repair is the core task of improving the quality of conservation.This article relies on the highway maintenance project in Anhui Province.Based on the analysis of the highway pavement characteristics,it evaluates and predicts the highway pavement performance,and proposes pavement performance evaluation indicators that are suitable for maintenance decisions,and proposes to determine the road surface overhaul.Appropriate timing methods,the application of research results can improve the comprehensive benefits of highway maintenance.The research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Investigation and analysis of factors affecting the performance of highway asphalt pavement;(2)Testing and evaluation of pavement performance;(3)Implementation effects and applicable conditions of technical measures for overhaul of road surface;(4)Determination method of overhaul timing based on life cycle cost analysis theory;(5)Discussion on the Determination of Opportunity and Maintenance Strategy for Major Repair and Maintenance of Pavement on Road Surface.The following conclusions can be drawn from experimental analysis,modeling and theoretical analysis:(1)A long-operating Expressway in Anhui,and transverse joints and longitudinal joints are the main forms of disease in asphalt pavements.The evaluation results of road performance indicators(RQI,PCI)have a certain deviation from the actual road conditions,and the overall evaluation results are higher than the actual level of the road surface.According to the existing evaluation indicators,effective pavement maintenance decisions cannot be made,and the resulting conservation measures are not targeted.?Based on the analysis of pavement disease detection data,gray clustering analysis was used to predict the development trend of PCI indicators and a grey clustering forecasting model was established.(4)Based on the evaluation and analysis of the implementation effects of the overhaul rehabilitation measures in Anhui Province,the life-cycle cost-benefit ratio method was used to determine the methods for determining the timing of conservation of the major overhaul technical measures.
