The development of nuclear technology has brought great benefits to human society.Because it belongs to one of the clean energies and has a wide range of energy release.Radioactive sources play a decisive role in the fields of medical treatment,industry and nuclear testing.The safety management of radioactive sources has become a daunting task.Incidents such as the loss or theft of radioactive sources can also cause environmental pollution and personal injury.This is because ionizing radiation can cause cancerous cells,which in turn leads to cellular DNA damage,which may affect the next generation and can cause disease or even death if prolonged or subjected to large amounts of radiation.The development of an instrument that can effectively monitor the safety of use and management of radioactive sources is currently a very important issue in the market.This paper presents a remote monitoring and tracking terminal device for radioactive sources based on high performance controller STM32 single chip microcomputer technology.It integrates many technologies such as GPRS technology,GPS positioning technology,network communication technology,sensor technology,data storage and LCD liquid crystal display.The monitoring terminal device can obtain the value of the dose of radioactive source,the temperature,humidity and geographical location of the environment in real time and send it to the network communication chip through the serial port.The chip uses the TCP / IP protocol of GPRS network to send the data to the remote Monitoring center,while the device which is equipped with large-capacity storage devices and liquid crystal display devices can display and storage information related to radioactive sources real-timely.When the radiation dose,temperature and humidity,pressure,geographical location and other information beyond the safety threshold or predetermined information,the device will send alarm information to the remote monitoring center and the device itself so that the relevant staff can take measures timely and effectively.The full text of research content and innovation are summarized as follows:1,The device uses a single-chip ARM core-based as control center.The chip has the advantages of fast computing speed,rich peripheral resources,small size,low power consumption,low price.It has solved the problems that traditional dosimeter worked slowly and had low automation.2,Based on the traditional dosimeter,we add sensors including temperature and humidity sensors and pressure sensors,which are used todetect the environment parameters of the radioactive sources and the sealing degree of the storage devices.It has solved the problems of the traditional dosimeters had less functional and made it more intelligent.3,Using a new generation of SIM808 communication chip.The chip integrates GPRS / GSM / GPS,USB,serial port and other functions.It has advantages of low power consumption,small size and the price is relatively low and so on.It has solved the problems of many access points of radioactive sources distributed to a wide range.4,The use of resistive touch LCD screen.The development of a friendly display and control interface to achieve the monitoring of radioactive source data processing,display and storage.At present,a prototype has been developed.After long-term experiments,the device is stable and reliable,and works well.It can meet the monitoring and control requirements of radioactive sources pollution management and improve the management level and efficiency of radioactive sources.
